Four Artists – Four Perspectives on the Forest

The exhibition brings together four artists, each interpreting the theme of the forest through their own creative medium.

• Marta Gotlība presents delicate illustrations inspired by the beauty and stories of nature.
• Baiba Rulle Jirgena (Garden Lamp Collection) showcases lighting pieces that bring the atmosphere of the forest into interior spaces.
• Meža Eva creates an immersive environment where nature becomes an experience felt through the senses.
• Silvija Stade (DABA DECO) presents handcrafted gypsum wall sculptures inspired by Latvia's woodland animals, wildflowers, and botanical forms. Every piece begins as an original hand-sculpted artwork before being carefully cast, preserving the finest natural details and transforming them into timeless wall décor.

An Exhibition That Inspires and Educates

The exhibition is enriched by guest contributors who offer new ways to explore Latvia's natural heritage.

Visitors will discover stunning nature photography by Jānis Zilvers, handcrafted furniture by Ogle Nature Furniture, and educational materials together with bird song recordings provided by the Latvian Ornithological Society, creating an immersive experience that celebrates the diversity of the forest.

For me, as the founder and artist behind DABA DECO, nature has always been the greatest source of inspiration. Forest animals, meadow flowers, leaves, and organic forms become sculptural wall art designed to bring the calmness and beauty of Latvia's landscapes into contemporary interiors.
